ARB Corporation (ARB) – Pullback provides opportunity

Why look at ARB Corporation? From early 2017 until halfway through this year, ARB was a market darling and enjoyed a stellar run. Off a low around1400c, the share price rallied to a high just shy of 2400c. Since hitting that high in June, the share price has slumped all the way back into the 1600c level.

Given the sharp selloff, it is now worth considering whether ARB is a buying opportunity.

If Australia’s love of 4WDs and SUVs is any measure, then the answer is ‘yes’. Sales of such vehicles rose 8% in 2017, compared to just 1% for all new vehicle sales. ARB accessories are fitted to these segments more than any other brand.
