Janus Henderson Group (JHG) is an independent global asset manager, specialising in active investment across all asset classes. It manages a broad range of investment products for institutional and retail investors across five capabilities: Equities, Quantitative Equities, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset and Alternatives.

The company suffered a steep decline in its share price recently, particularly in the back half of last year. From a May high around 4600c, the stock slumped to sub 2700c by December.

The share price slump paralleled a difficult period for the company, which saw earnings fall short of expectations and outflows worse than anticipated. Tax issues and compensation expenses also weighed.
