US equities mixed overnight. Tech results in focus. The NASDAQ fell 0.76%. The S&P 500 closed unchanged, down 0.06%, The Dow finished near session highs
We have come within 0.5 points of the record all-time high on the ASX 200 for the sixth time – can we break it?
ASX regrouped-after an early swoon jumping 81 points to 7681 (1.1%). Record close. CPI and month end buying cheer. Banks continue to lead the market
ASX closed up 22 points to 7600 (0.3%) after fading from highs China and HK slipped lower as stimulus hopes fade FOMC in focus.
Late rally sees more records. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 224.02 points to close at 38,333.45. Nasdaq Composite gained 1.12% and settled at 15,628.04.
