SUMMARY - We have been writing about it for weeks and hopefully you too did some cashing up. From this point, I think it's getting a bit late to sell and too early to buy. These sort of things dent confidence for a while and it takes three times as long to build confidence as it does to lose it. So it'll be a slow return to confidence - nothing turns on a sixpence. In 1987 it took four months from top to bottom before the market began any meaningful rally. Having said that, in a year or two we will have forgotten coronavirus and the market will be back to normal, so the conclusion has to be that this is all part of a tremendous buying opportunity in the end, but it's still too early to start doing that.
